James McConkey

James has been Technical Director at LCC since 1997. Graduating from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in Theatre, he worked at the Hult Center for 10 years before starting at Lane. James works with scheduling, planning, designing, building, and operating the Music, Dance and Theatre productions for the two performance spaces. He also works with many community performance groups, trains students to operate and run shows, teaches a technical production class and is Technical Director for the Dance Program at the University of Oregon.
