Professional Biography

Brian holds a PhD in Theatre with an emphasis in directing and new play development from the University of Georgia. His most recent acting credit is playing Bruce in "Fun Home" at Oregon Contemporary Theatre. He has been a featured singer/performer with the Portland Gay Men's Chorus and he received a grant from the Oregon Arts Commission to take his one-man show "How to be a Sissy" to the Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland. He teaches traditional acting, Acting Shakespeare, Acting for Camera and Improv as well as Introduction to Theatre. He is the advisor to the Student Production Association of LCC and directed SPA's recent original rock n roll musical "Electra's Oresteia" which was a featured production at The Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival's Region Seven conference.
