Professional Biography
Violin/Viola Instructor
A native of Los Angeles, Yvonne Hsueh attended California State University at Northridge and received the Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Violin Performance from the University of Oregon. She performs with the Eugene Symphony and the Oregon Mozart Players. She is an active chamber musician, recitalist, and enjoys playing the Baroque violin.
Ms. Hsueh has been the concertmaster of the Rogue Valley Symphony and is currently the concertmaster of the Newport Symphony and Western Oregon Symphony. She has a private studio and is on the faculties of Lane Community College and Western Oregon University. During the summers, Yvonne performs with the Ernest Bloch Music Festival, the New Hampshire Music Festival, and the Sunriver Music Festival. In her free time she enjoys cycling, rafting, hiking, downhill skiing and spending time with her dog.
