Christina Grijalva

I am a Registered Health Information Administrator specializing in healthcare compliance, HIPAA privacy and security, and medical office management. I am also an educator specializing in online course development. I have lived in Bend for over 25 years. I graduated from Central Oregon Community College in the Health Information Management (HIM) program and earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management Administration from the University of Cincinnati. I earned my Masters of Education in Instructional Design and Technology from the American College of Education. I have been an active member of the American Health Information Management Association and the Oregon State Component Association for 21 years. My passion to support the development of HIM professionals has motivated me over the years to be an HIM educator, host HIM students for their professional practice experience, and to participate in the AHIMA mentor program. From 2021-2024 I served as the HIM Program Director and full-time faculty at Central Oregon Community College. I am pleased to join the HIM Program here at Lane Community College.
