Longhouse Steward | Lane Community College
Rebecca “Agléška” Cohen-Rencountre (American Studies PhD candidate, ABD) serves as the Longhouse Steward at Lane Community College, supporting Native and Indigenous students through culturally grounded programming, community engagement, and stewardship of the Longhouse. As an enrolled member of the Lower Brule Sioux Tribe and an LCC alum, Agléška works to ensure the Longhouse remains a welcoming, respectful, and student-centered space for learning, gathering, and cultural connection.
