Courtney Pennington

Courtney Pennington is an early childhood education leader with extensive experience in inclusive practices, social-emotional learning, and Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC). She holds advanced training in early childhood development and has served in leadership roles supporting educators, children, and families across diverse early learning settings.

Courtney’s work is deeply grounded in the Every Child Belongs framework, with a strong emphasis on equity, belonging, and strengths-based support for children with diverse social-emotional and developmental needs. She brings a coaching-oriented approach to her work, partnering with educators to build reflective practice, enhance classroom climate, and implement responsive, relationship-based strategies.

With hands-on experience as a center director and collaborator with community stake holders, Courtney is skilled in translating IECMHC principles into practical, sustainable supports for early learning programs. Her work centers on fostering emotionally supportive environments where children, educators, and families can thrive.
