Jenn Goudreau is a Computer Science instructor at Lane Community College and the current lead for the Computer Science AS-Transfer (AST) degree. She joined Lane in 2021 and brings 10 years of teaching experience along with more than two decades of industry work.
Before joining Lane, Jennifer spent 17 years at Lockheed Martin in roles ranging from Satellite Systems Engineer to Database Specialist. She then served as an Adjunct Instructor at Pioneer Pacific College and later worked as an IT Specialist at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute. These diverse positions shaped her practical, hands-on teaching style and her focus on preparing students for real-world success.
At Lane, she teaches introductory programming C++, Game Design with Unreal Engine, and Windows Servers. She also developed citstudent.lanecc.edu, a centralized student portal that provides quick access to course materials, resources, and program information. She is committed to creating inclusive, supportive learning environments, particularly for adult learners and neurodivergent students.
Jennifer also runs JennTeachesTech, a YouTube channel offering guidance for new educators and approachable content on programming, Windows administration, and game design.
