Professional Biography

I joined Lane Community College in 2004, where I teach the art of sound capture and composition in time based media and post production, and also in software technology. I have an Associate of Arts, with Honors from Sacramento City College (1997), a Bachelor of Music, Magnum Cum Laude, in Composition from the University of the Pacific, Conservatory of Music in Stockton, California (2001), and finally, a Master of Music in Intermedia Music Technology at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon (2004). My former academic background falls in the electronic music genre and my electronic and acoustic works have been performed locally in Eugene, and at conferences nationally and internationally. Additionally, since 2004 I have also worked in software technology and development, contracting as a project manager and now currently a division manager overseeing software quality assurance relating to online science and math textbook references for students and teachers on a college level. It is an absolute joy to have the ability to work in academia in both areas of my work life.
