Professional Biography
Chef Ryan trained at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Having cooked in & managed kitchens of many kinds over the past 20 years, his true love is teaching. Ryan has been a Chef Instructor in culinary job training programs, community kitchens and school cooking programs for over 13 years.
He is passionate about the power of food to bring people together and lift them up - whether that happens in the kitchen, the classroom, or around the table. In classes, Chef Ryan emphasizes understanding and creativity. His greatest joy is hearing, "I can't believe I cooked this! It's delicious!"
