Sarah Erickson

I am originally from northwest Washington state and first attended college at Whatcom Community College in Bellingham. I received my Associate's degree there and later pursued my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Western Washington University (also in Bellingham). I then got my Master's degree and PhD in Mathematics at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. My research area in graduate school was mathematics education with a focus on combinatorics. I graduated in 2020. Now I teach Math in Society, Probability and Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, and other mathematics courses at LCC. I am passionate about community colleges and love that each day I get to help students pursue their academic and career goals!
